The difference between stainless steel round pipe and square pipe
Production difference: Round tube is made of stainless steel strip extruded into a circle, and then welded online. Square tube is first made into a round tube and then extruded into a square tube through the die.
Wall process difference: stainless steel round tube outer wall mostly polished, square tube is made of brushed surface.
Pipe mouth process difference: round pipe mouth can do shrinkage, flare, shrink tip, reducer, rolled edge, chamfering and other processing, but the square tube can not be processed.
Structural stress difference: the surface of the round tube is more evenly stressed; the stainless steel square tube has four 90-degree angles, which are not easy to rotate and twist, and is more solid when fixing certain objects.
The difference in use: in many cases, the bottom pipe and bend can be replaced by each other, but not in specific cases. Due to the construction of stainless steel round tube, the inner wall can be polished, the wall is not easy to accumulate scale, cleaning is simple, in the fluid transfer is used as the first choice; square tube is prone to internal scale accumulation, cleaning inconvenience and other reasons, generally not used as fluid transfer. Because the resistance moment of square tube is larger than round tube, it will be more solid, so when used as structural support, square tube will be chosen to be the main member.
